Description
The seventh of 18 parvas, it describes the appointment of Drona as commander-in-chief of the Kaurava alliance, on the 11th day of the Kurukshetra War and his death four days later, during which time major characters like Abhimanyu, Jayadratha and Ghatotkacha are killed.
