This text is a combination of Dharmaśāstra and Jyotiṣa. It frequently refutes the views of Mādhava. The author was of the Bhaṭṭa family: his father was Viṭṭhala Bhaṭṭa and his grandfather Bālakṛṣṇa Bhaṭṭa.
