Description

The paper manuscript is Kaivalya upaniṣad. The text expresses Shaivism in vedanta. Aśvalayana ask to brahma about realizaton of the self and non dual idendity. The Kaivalya Upanishad describes the final stage of complete realization, where one attains the ultimate knowledge that dissolves all duality, allowing the realized being to emerge as the one the absolute, beyond all distinctions. Title from incipit (f. 1a). The manuscript is written in 8–9 lines per leaf. 3 leaves are foliated 1–3, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are covered with yellow or crossed out, some additions written in margins; some significant phrases highlighted in red.The manuscript sr no 918 and 919 are same but the scribe is different.
