Description
The manuscript is Jñānamañjarī by Gadādhara is the work on Jyotiṣa. The manual serves as a comprehensive guide for interpreting and predicting various aspects of an individual’s life using the principles of Hindu astronomy and mathematical calculations. In addition, the manual discusses the specific influences of different planets on the twelve zodiac signs, explaining how these planetary positions and movements are traditionally believed to affect a person’s character, experiences and life events. It is written in 11 lines per leaf.; 24 leaves are foliated 1–24, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in the margins; vertical margins marked with double black line. A single wooden board is supports the manuscript and has writing on it which appears to be a list or table of contents.
