Description
The manuscript consists of various vratas (observances) related to gods Viṣṇu , Śiva, Śani and Gaṇeśa. Janmāṣṭamīvrata(f.1b–2a), Rāmanavamīvrata (f.2a–3a), Śani pradosha vrata (f.8b–9a). These observances are believed to rid people of sickness, bring overall well-being and personal benefits. Title is taken from incipit (f. 1a). The manuscript is written in 7 lines per leaf. 18 leaves are foliated 1–18, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in the margins, significant syllables and words highlighted in red throughout. The manuscript is incomplete.
