Description

The manuscript contains Hanumānbāhukavaca by Goswami Tulsidas. It consists of verses which are recited for protection like an amulet as per belief, just like how a Kavaca (armor) gives protection to the phisical body. Title is taken from the colophon (f. 24a). It is written in 7 lines per leaf. 24 leaves are foliated 1–24, upper left verso. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words highlighted in red throughout, vertical margins marked with double red line. Folios turn from right to left as if in a Western-style book.
