Description
Gaṅgāṣṭakastotra is a devotional text with eight verses (8+1) as the name suggests dedicated to the sacred river deity Gaṅgā. The text describes the nature of the river deity and its purification qualities, also it's connection with Lord Śiva, residing on the head of the lord. The text is attributed to Vālmīki in (f.2a). This Ms. is written in 10 lines per folio. Title is present in colophon (f.2a) along with date. Mistakes are blacked out.
