Description
Gaṇeśastotra is a devotional text in praise of elephant headed Hindu deity Gaṇeśa. There are many such stotra available most of which are drawn from Purāṇic literature. This text may be drawn from major purāṇic text since it is attributed to Vyāsa who is popularly believed to be the author of the 18 Mahāpurāṇas. This Ms. is written in 4 lines per folio. Title present in colophon (f. 3b) along with attributed author Vyāsa. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Inceipt, colophon and the double pūrna virāma style full stop brackets are in red. The Ms. was formerly housed with Ms. Coll. 390; Items 453, 454, 456, and 457.
