Description
The text Dīpaprayogaratnākara comprises a wide range of ritual practices associated with the dīpa (lamp). It includes detailed prescriptions for dīpadāna rituals to be performed on specific tithis, as well as rituals distinguished by the number of lamps offered. The text also contains the Kārtavīryārjunana Prayoga, which incorporates bīja mantras and the Gāyatrī mantra as integral ritual elements. Within the framework of the Kārtavīryārjunana Prayoga (19b), dīpadāna assumes particular ritual and symbolic significance. Title is taken from marginal abbreviations throughout.
