Description
This is a Gāthā text about Dipankara the Buddhist narrative, or Jātaka tale, of the distant past Buddha, Dipankara, and his encounter with a young ascetic named Sumedha. This story is profoundly significant in Buddhist tradition because Dipankara prophesied that Sumedha would one day become a Buddha in a future life, an event which came to pass with the birth of Siddhārtha Gautama. The text manually scratched line or margines for the writing and interestingly some page margins has filled of colour. Had found two date but not mentioned any functon or purspect about the date. The manuscript has partially torn and at the end there is a list in vertically but its not decipherable.
