The manuscript appears to be a Nepal Bhāṣā Buddhist devotional narrative centered on Dharmapālarāja (Dharmapālarāja-kathā) and the religious merits of observing the Aṣṭamī vow dedicated to Karuṇāmaya (Avalokiteśvara).
