Description
A māhātmya text praising the Divine Mother Goddess (Devī), extracted from the Ghaṭatantra of the Rudrayāmalatantra. This manuscript contains four short texts. The first text, Devīparabrahmasūkta (ff. 1a–2b), contains 34 verses; the second, Devīsūkta—uttered by God Viṣṇu—(ff. 2b–3b) contains 22 verses; the third, Devīsūkta, a part of the Saptaśatikā (ff. 3b–4b), contains 19 verses. The final text, Pīṭhastotra (f. 4b), mentions the names of the auspicious places where temples were dedicated to the Divine Mother Goddess.
