Description
This ritual text follows the Darśapaurṇamāsa section of Baudhāyana’s Śrautasūtra, it focusing on the atonement rites (prāyaścitta) performed during the new moon and full moon. It explains how to properly conduct these rites with mantras, step by step. This text is similar to item 1276. (Written in 7–8 lines per leaf.; 52 leaves foliated 1–51, [52], upper left and lower right verso.; Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red throughout half of manuscript (f. 1b-27a).
