Description
It is a composite manuscript. Folio (1a–1b) consists of Gurupaddhati Natividhāna taken from the Padmapurāṇa. It explains the characteristics of a Guru and the meaning of “Guru” (teacher) through a conversation between the Hindu deities Śiva and Pārvatī. (f. 2b) contains Mānasikasnānavidhi taken from the Vāmanapurāṇa, which deals with methods of cleansing the mind through bathing performed as a form of meditation. Alternate title Gurupaddhati Namaskāra is taken from the second line of the text. The manuscript is written in 15–16 lines per leaf. It has only 2 leaves. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Vertical margins marked with double black line. Text is written on European paper.
