Description

This is a Dharmaśāstra nibandha text that describes the Hindu saṃskāras Caulaprayoga (also known as Cūḍākaraṇa) and Upanayana, cites Āśvalāyana; Vasiṣtha; Saṃskārakaustubha. As the manuscript is incomplete, the title is missing; however, based on the abbreviation in the margin, it is possible that the title of the text is Saṃskāraprayoga. This text appears to be part of a larger work. (Written in 10 lines per leaf.; 18 leaves foliated 1–18, upper left and lower right verso.; Mistakes covered in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; accents for aid with Vedic recitations in red.)
