Description

This is a Vedic ritual manual that describes the fourth-monthly rituals performed in the months of Phālguna, Āṣāḍha, and Kārttika. These rituals are conducted in four parvas: Vaiśvadeva Parva, Varuṇapraghāsa Parva, Sākamedha Parva, and Śunāsīrīya Parva. In the colophon the author of the text has mentioned that he consulted the prayoga part of Baudhāyana and Āśvalāyana. ( Written in 8–10 lines per leaf.; 48 leaves foliated 1–48, middle right verso.; Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red throughout.)
