Description

This is a Vedic ritual manual that describes the fourth-monthly rituals performed in the months of Phālguna, Āṣāḍha, and Kārttika. These rituals are conducted in four parvas: Vaiśvadeva Parva, Varuṇapraghāsa Parva, Sākamedha Parva, and Śunāsīrīya Parva. In the colophon the author of the text has mentioned that he consulted the prayoga part of Baudhāyana and Āśvalāyana. ( Written in 7 lines per leaf.; 75 leaves foliated 1–75, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins.)
