Description

This is a Vedic ritual manual that describes the fourth-monthly rituals performed in the months of Phālguna, Āṣāḍha, and Kārttika. These rituals are conducted in four parvas: Vaiśvadeva Parva, Varuṇapraghāsa Parva, Sākamedha Parva, and Śunāsīrīya Parva. (Written in 9–11 lines per leaf.; 20 leaves foliated 1-20, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red throughout; vertical margins marked with double red line; red accents added throughout.
