Description
A work is on prāyaścitta. This text explains the rules for performing atonement rites, especially those linked to the four-month seasonal rituals called cāturmāsya. The manuscript discribes Darśapūrṇamāsaprāyaścitta, Cāturmāsprāyaṣcitta, Sarvayajñaprāyaścitta and more prāyaścitta which comes under the Śrauta Dharmasūtra. In the manuscript handwriting changes from (f. 29). Its written in 11–14 lines per folio. Cover and back page both contain title. Title present in colophon (f. 57a). There are double red vertical margins present on each side of the folio. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting.
