Description

Carpaṭa pañjarikāstotra is very popular hindu devotional stotra by Ādi Śaṇkarācārya. It's shows Advaita Philosophy through stotra. One scholar man who is Sanyāsi was reciting grammar rules. Ādi Śaṇkarācārya advised him worship god "Bhaja Govinda" . Do not waste your time to reciting grammar. In this age you are not able to share your knowledge. In stotra Ādi Śaṇkarācārya indicate the devotion towards the god Vīṣnu and liberation from the cycle of birth and death. This manuscript is written in 6 lines per folio. Cover and bask page contain alternate title Carpaṭapañjurī. Title present in colophon (f. 4b). There are double red vertical margins present on each side of the folio. The double Pūrna Virāma (full stop) style vertical brackets, incipit and colophon are in red. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. One folio has been treated with yellow turmeric powder.
