Description
The manuscript appears to be a Buddhist devotional text combining hymnic praise, religious instruction, and descriptions of meritorious acts. One extant passage opens with an invocation to Lokanātha (Avalokiteśvara), praising his compassion and protective power in rescuing beings from suffering, fear, disease, and adverse destinies. Other passages describe offerings made to the Buddha and the Saṅgha and the merits obtained through such acts, including prosperity, good fortune, and spiritual benefit.
