Description
Brahmopaniṣad is part of the Kṛṣṇa Yajurveda belongs to Advaita philosophy. Text describes nature of Ātman, How the body is conected with Brahman?, how do they function?, who is he?. One should realize the self by meditating on it and discover something hidden like (f. 2a) the oil in the sesamum seed, as the ghee in the curds . One who know the Ātman and object of this upaniṣad which expounds the nature of Ātman and Brahman thus the upaniṣad. The folio (f.2b) has different text , Ending of the main text. Which is in red ink. The manuscript written in 10–11 lines per leaf. Mistakes are covered over in yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in margins. vertical margins marked with double red line. Second text added in red in a second scribal hand. The text written in red ink on Folio 2B is not part of the Upaniṣad. And it is in a second scribal hand.
