Description
Brahmayajña is one of the mahāyajña. From early Vedic times five daily observances called mahāyajña were prescribed. Brahmayajña is one’s own daily study of the Veda. To chant Vedas daily (Svādhyāya) to satisfy our ṛṣi.Title is taken from colophon (f. 5a). Apparently unrelated title appears at the end of manuscript (f. 5b). The manuscript is written in 7 lines per leaf. 5 leaves are foliated 1–4, [5], lower right verso. Mistakes are covered over with yellow, highlights in orange, accents for pronunciation indicated with red marks.
