Description

Brāhmaṇācchaṃsiprayoga is a procedures carried out by the Brāhmaṇācchaṃsi. Brāhmaṇācchaṃsi is assistant of the main priest. His duty to repeat the hyms after main priest. This manuscript is written in 14 lines per folio. There are double or triple red vertical margins on each side of the folio. The text conains red metric accents. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting. The Ms. is dated śaka 1732 in (f. 4b) along with the Scribe Sadāśiva who may have written or directed a group of manuscripts Ms. Coll. 390.
