Description
In Bilvopaniṣad bilva tree is nothing but the form of the deity Śiva. A single leaf of bilva the Śiva becomes very much pleased. Worship of Lord Śiva is incomplete without Bilva Patra. The worship of the bilva tree is on par, with the worship of the lord Śiva himself. The three leaf symbolizes the three functions creation, preservation and destruction((Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Maheśa) of the lord as well as his three eyes. The Manuscript is written in 13 lines per leaf. Mistakes are covered over in yellow or blacked out. some corrections and additions in margins.
