Description

In Bilvopaniṣad bilva tree is nothing but the form of the deity Śiva. A single leaf of bilva the Śiva becomes very much pleased.Worship of Śiva is incomplete without Bilva Patra. The three leaf symbolizes the three functions creation, preservation and destruction((Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Maheśa) of the lord as well as his three eyes. The manusript is written in 10–11 lines per leaf. The manuscript starts on the (f. 1b) and the last page of the text is (f. 2b). Mistakes are covered over in yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in margins, vertical margins marked with single black line. Some folios are written upside down.
