Description
The manuscript contains the Bhṛguvallī of the Taittirīyopaniṣad. The Taittirīyopaniṣad consists of three vallīs (chapters), the last of which is known as the Bhṛguvallī. It is also referred to separately as the Bhṛgūpaniṣad or Bhṛguvallyupaniṣad. This chapter narrates the story of Bhṛgu, the son of the god Varuṇa, who approached his father to acquire knowledge of Brahman (the Universal Reality). Text contains red metric accents. This Ms. is written in 9 lines per folio. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins.
