Description
This is a treatise on Advaita philosophy. The manuscript contains a sub-commentary on the Śārīrakamīmāṃsā-bhāṣya, titled Bhāṣyaratnaprabhā (fols. 18a–29b), composed by Govindānanda, a disciple of Gopāla Sarasvatī. The Bhāṣyaratnaprabhā is a commentary on Śaṃkarācārya’s Śārīrakamīmāṃsā-bhāṣya, which itself is a commentary on the Śārīrakamīmāṃsā. The original work is divided into four adhyāyas, and each adhyāya is further divided into subchapters called pāda. This manuscript includes only the first adhyāya, first pāda (incomplete). This Ms. is written in 11–12 lines per folio. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins.
