Description

A Nyāya-Vaiśeṣika text, also known as Kārikāvalī or Paribhāṣāpariccheda, was composed by Viśvanātha Nyāyapañcānana, the son of Vidyānivāsa. This manuscript contains the full text with 168 kārikās (concise verses stating doctrinal principles) and discusses topics such as pratyakṣa, anumāna, śabda, smṛti, dravya, and guṇa. This Ms. is written in 9–11 lines per folio. Cover and back page is blank. Title present in colophon (f. 9a). Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting.
