Description
Bhāgavatapurāṇa (Skandha 10; Adhyāya 13–14) It is listed among the18 Mahāpurāṇas. The text primarily belongs to the Vaiṣṇava school philosophy. This Ms. contains a commentary. The adhyāyas contains the incident of supreme deity Brahmā testing lord Kṛṣṇa by disapearing cows and their herders. Kṛṣṇa created illusionary cows and herders to astonish Brahmā. In the end overwhelmed by Kṛṣṇa's display of power. He glorifies Kṛṣṇa, acknowledging his position as the Supreme Lord. This Ms. contains. Adhyāya-13 (f.42a–43b) from verse no. 40, Adhyāya-14 (44a–45b) only till verse no. 9. This Ms. lacks a starting and ending part. This Ms. is written in 14–19 lines per folio. Mistakes covered with yellow or overwritten.
