Description
Baṭukabhairavastotra is a part of a larger tantric work Rudrayāmalatantra. There is another text with the same name which is actually part of the Viśvasāratantra. The hymns of the text is dedicated to Baṭukabhairava, a benevolent form of supreme deity Lord Śiva. The text is recited for both material gains and spiritual gains. The text is believed to give protection from negative energies and spirits as well as increase intelligence. This Ms. is written in 5–8 lines per folio. Cover page contains a red circle drawn like a floral diagram enclosed in a frame. Title present in colophon (f. 22b). There are double red vertical margins presentd on each side of the folio.
