Description
This text belongs to Aitareya-Āraṇyaka II and includes chapters four, five, six, and seven, collectively titled Ātmaṣaṭaka. Chapters four, five, and six of Aitareya-Āraṇyaka II together constitute the Aitareya Upaniṣad, while the seventh chapter contains only a single mantra. Thus, the present text actually covers the entire Aitareya Upaniṣad and also includes the seventh chapter of Aitareya-Āraṇyaka II. This work is similar to Items 1190, 1234 and 948. This Ms. is written in 9 lines per folio. There are double red vertical margins present on each side of the folio. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting.
