Description
A devotional text composed in 50 verses in praise of Lord Śiva by the well-known Advaitin scholar Appaya Dīkṣita (16th century). In this work, it appears that he drew inspiration from Śaṃkarācārya’s Śivānanda-laharī (Vasudeva, 2012, pp. X–XII). This Ms. is written in 10–12 lines per folio. Title present in colophon (f. 4b). Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Maṅgalavākya in the begining of the text is dedicated to deity Śiva rather than Gaṇeśa which is common.
