Ᾱryatārābhaṭṭārikāyā nāmāṣṭottaraśatakam

– In Colophon is written – iti Ᾱryatārabhaktārikāyā
nāmāṣṭottaraśatakam Buddhabhāṣita parisamāpta. Probably due to local pronunciation the title of the text is misspelt.The correct title of the text would be Ᾱryatārabhaṭṭārikāyānāmāṣṭottaraśatakam . The Goddess Ᾱryatārā is glorified in this text.She is known as MahāRoudri,Puṣṭivardhani, Candrānanā and the great lady, who enhances the span of life a and welcomes good health
(āyurārogyajanaka). Ᾱryatārā and Ᾱryabhṭṭāriyaka is the same goddess only the difference remains in their title. Ᾱryatārabhaṭṭārikāyānāmāṣṭottaraśatakam is found I Sādhanamālā.
