Description

Akulāgama mahātantra yogasārasamuccaya is a part of Akulāgamatantra an unknown Yogic text. The text descriibes Haṭha Yoga from the perspoctive of the Yogic tradition of Nātha Sampradāya the one founded by Matsyendranātha. It is written in dialogue format between supreme deity Śiva and his consort Pārvati discussing various topics on Yoga. This Ms. is written 11–13 lines per folio. Cover page is written in Nepali attributing ownership of manuscript to a minor Nepali king named Śrī 3 Bīr Mardana. Back page is blank. Title is present in colophon (f. 22b). There are double black vertical margins on each side of the folio. There are Pūrna Virāma (full stops) throughout the text. Mistake are blacked out. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting. Folio 19 is damaged from the right hand side.
