Description
Ajapāgāyatrīmantra is a text which descriibes meditation through breathing exercises prāṇāyāma which involves observing the natural rhythm of the breath. The practice is believed to facilitate self realization and connect with the universal self. This Ms. is written in 10–11 lines per folio. Title present in the third line of text (f. 1a). Alternate title Ajapājapa present in margin on bottom left side (f. 1b). One mistake is blacked out. The Ms. is dated 13 śuklapakṣa of Āśvīna, śaka 1769 (Friday, October 22, 1847) in (f. 1b) along with the scribe Divākara Vajhe (f. 1b).
