Description
Agniṣṭoma prayoga is a manual for performing Vedic Agniṣṭoma ritual which involves offering of soma to various deities. The soma is considered as a sacred and powerfull drink also drank in moderate amounts by the priest during the ritual. Agniṣṭoma is considered as a foundation for other soma rituals. The ritual is performed for spiritual and material well-being. This Ms. lacks an ending. This Ms. is written in 10 lines per folio. Cover page contains title. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting. There are metrical accents present in red.
