Description

Agastipurāṇa rāmanavamī vrata contains rituals that are performed during Hindu festival of Rāmanavamī, honoring the birth of the Hindu deity Rāma. There are mutiple texts with the name Agastyasaṃhitā which are attributed to the Ṛṣi (sage) Agastya like Skandapurāṇa and Garudapurāṇa. This Ms. is written in 10–11 lines per folio. Date of manuscript is based on dated manuscripts written by the same scribe as Ms. Coll. 390; Items 2275, 2276, 2277, 2282, 2285, 2286, 2287, 2288, 2289, 2290, 2291, 2292 and 2293.
