Description

Advaitānanda is the 13 Adhyāya (chapter) of Pañcadaśī composed by Vidyāraṇya Svāmī also known as Mādhava which has in total 16 chapters. Brahmānanda is the name of the prakaraṇa/section from chapter 11–15th in which Advaitānanda is the third. It is a philosophical treatise on Advaita(non-dualistic) Vedānta school of Hindu philosophy with a commentary running parallel Tātparyabodhinī by Rāmakṛṣṇa. The chapter dvelves into the nature of bliss, obstacles to self realization and the illusionary nature of universe. This Ms. is written in 11–16 lines per folio. Cover page is blank. Title present in colophon (f. 13b). Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting.
