Description

Advaitamakaranda translated as Honey of Advaita is a philosophical treatise on Advaita(non-dualistic) Vedānta school of Hindu philosophy with a commentary running parallel Rasābhivyañjikā by Svayamprakāśa. The text is a guide to understand the core principles and teachings of Advaita like non-duality, the illusion of seperation of the self from the world. The Brahman being the the ultimate reality and root of all things. The text focuses on clear and concise explanations rather than relying just on intellectual understanding. This Ms. is written in 8–9 lines per folio. Title present in colophon (f. 2b). Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables, words and numbers rubbed with orange powder for highlighting.
