Description
Adbhutakuladīpa Dharmarāja Kathā is the story of the spiritual journey of a Bodhisattva named Kuladīpa. Written in the Avadāna style, this relatively recent tale amalgamates traditional classical Buddhist narratives, particularly from the Durgatipariśodhana and related sources. The primary theme of the tale is the philosophy of karma. It recounts the fruits of wholesome and unwholesome actions through illustrative examples drawn from the past. It also emphasizes the veneration of the Triple Gem as the source of merit and as beneficial for both this life and the next.
